Coilovers take your Toyota to the next level
Shocks and springs working separately are fine for dirt roads and city streets, but you will immediately notice improvement in your vehicle's handling, steering, and even just the comfort of ride once you upgrade to a coilover suspension. When your vehicle hits rocks or bumps, your spring uses physics to displace the force of the impact and redistribute it throughout the spring.
The unit uses a damper to absorb the shock, preventing the spring from echoing the energy with continued oscillation. This is how you can tell shock absorbers aren't working right anymore, when a vehicle continues to bounce long after you have hit a bump.
Coilovers are much more effective in reducing that oscillation and allow you to adjust the ride of your suspension, depending on how you need it to perform. Coilovers allow you to go to a new level of performance and suspension adjustability. They also improve the aggressive stance of your vehicle and allow for harsher terrain with a better ride and handling. Coilovers work to achieve lift as well, giving the clearance you need to tackle harder terrain.
